You don't have to outsmart the algorithm when you start creating content that builds trust, creates demand and sells your education.

The Content Edit is a private podcast series for educators and mentors (in the hair, beauty industry and beyond) who are already showing up, already creating, but feel like something in their messaging isn’t clicking the way it should.

If you’re tired of chasing reach, second-guessing what to say, or feeling like your content takes a lot of effort for not enough return... this series will help you see your content differently, measure the things that matter, and focus on what actually moves the needle.

The Content Edit is perfect for you if...

→ You’re tired of feeling like you’re constantly chasing what to say or how to show up, looking to other people to show you what's "authentic" especially every time the algorithm shifts or the conversation changes

→ You’ve been doing this for a while, you’ve put a lot out there, and now things feel a little tangled or unclear when it comes to talking about your offers

→ You care deeply about helping people, but creating content has started to feel heavier or more frustrating than it should

→ You don’t want to sell your soul to trends, gimmicks, or engagement tactics just to stay visible

→ You want your content to actually build trust so people feel confident and safe buying from you and working with you

This series isn’t about beating the algorithm.
It’s about looking at your content differently and focusing on the things that actually move the needle.

Over the last 5 years I’ve worked with dozens of educators and coaches at different stages of their business, and this is one of the most common patterns I see... the work is good, the intention is there, but the messaging gets muddy and the content stops doing its job.

This series is gonna help you fix that.

I’ve seen even the most experienced educators struggle to communicate the value of their work. This isn’t a beginner problem.

A lot of the conversation around content right now for educators is about how to beat the algorithm, boost reach, or go viral.

It’s about “just being relatable” or posting more… and let’s be honest, you’ve tried all that.

That kind of focus can suck the joy and authenticity out of creating content. It can start to feel like you can’t shine too brightly without risking being seen as unrelatable. So the focus slowly shifts toward being liked, and away from being trusted.

Not only does that kind of surface-level advice chip away at confidence, it also reduces results, especially if you’re someone who genuinely cares about the people you want to help.

What I see over and over again with experienced educators and coaches is this: they’ve put a lot out there.

They’ve taught classes, launched offers, built audiences. And at some point, things start to feel tangled.

They’ve evolved. Their work has evolved. Their messaging, offers, and content have evolved. And when you’re busy doing the work, it’s easy to never pause long enough to refine the strategy underneath it all.

Marketing problems aren’t just a beginner thing.
They often show up after you’ve been doing this for a while.

This series is about stepping back, looking at your content differently, and focusing on what actually matters when you’re building a brand, selling education, and leading people well.

What The Content Edit will help you see differently

This series is about slowing down and looking at your content through a different lens.

We spend time on three areas that shape how people experience your brand through your content and decide whether or not they trust you enough to work with you.

What You'll Learn...

UNDERSTANDING

Is it obvious what you do, who you help, and how someone can work with you?

When people don’t understand your work, they hesitate. Not because they aren’t interested, but because it’s hard to make a decision from confusion.

This part of the series helps you see where your content might feel unclear and how to make the value of your work easier to understand.

AUTHORITY

Do people feel confident and safe trusting you to help them?

This isn’t about proving anything. It’s about communicating your experience, results, and perspective in a way that builds trust without watering yourself down or hiding your wins.

PRESENTATION

How you show up matters.

Your messaging, brand voice, and visuals all shape how people experience your work. This section looks at how consistent and intentional your presentation is across your content, and how that impacts trust.

Hi, I'm Jodie!

I started my career as a hairstylist and spent over 15 years in the industry before moving into education, agency work, and hosting international retreats for creative educators.

Over the years, I’ve worked closely with hundreds of beauty pros and dozens of experienced educators as they’ve grown their brands, pivoted, and refined what they do and teach.

The people I work with are thoughtful, experienced, and deeply committed to helping others. They’ve built real expertise and they care about doing this work with integrity. What they’re often missing isn’t effort or ideas, but a clearer way to communicate the value of what they’ve built so it’s understood, trusted, and acted on.

The Content Edit comes directly from those conversations. It’s a space to strengthen the way your work is positioned so it supports the business and impact you’re building.
